George Wickham, Sr.
George Wickham, Sr., 80, died Monday [August] 28 at Wagner General Hospital. He was born July 31, 1898 in Illinois. Survivors are wife, Gladys Wickham, Palacios, daughters, Patricia Christianson, Palacios, Carol Boone, Tucson, Arizona, a son, George Wickham II, Conroe, brother, Leonard Sexton, Stratford, Missouri, and 7 grandchildren. The deceased was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Palacios. Funeral services will be held at Palacios Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 30, at 4 p. m. Rev. Carl L. W. Israel and Rev. J. R. Gwin will officiate. Interment at Hawley Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, Palacios.
