Marie A. Wickham McArthur, 72, of 199 Tiki Terrace, Ball Hi Estates, Hiawatha, and formerly of the Center Point area, died Sunday in St. Luke's Hospital following a short illness.
Born Dec 2, 1915, in Linn County, she was married to James Monroe McArthur Dec. 23, 1934, at Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Marvin of Walker; two daughters, Joan Mabb of Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Jeanette Sholes of Center Point; a sister, Helen Owens of Center Point; thirteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, First Christian Church, Center Point, by the Rev. Earl Luginbuhl. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Murdoch Funeral Home, Center Point, and at the church after 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial: Center Point Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
