OBITUARY, Postville Herald (IA): Clarence Edward Wickham - 1908-1962 - Clarence Edward Wickham, born August 1, 1908 near Hawkeye; passed away November 17 at the age of 54 years, three months and 17 days. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wickham of Postville. He spent most of his boyhood days around Hawkeye.
On March 15, 1941 he was united in marriage to Maxine Morse of Fayette. To this union were born two daughters, Diane Wickham of Decorah and Barbara, Mrs. Kenneth Little. His wife passed away March 23, 1954. On September 19, 1959 he was united in marriage to Minnie Johnson of Des Moines.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Minnie; his two daughters, Diane and Barbara, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs Frank Wickham of Postville; three brothers, Earl and Fay of Postville, and Billie of Alpha; two sisters, Ruby, Mrs. Eben Pierce, of Waucoma and Florence, Mrs. Victor Leihold, of Waterloo; several nieces and nephews.
Clarence married Maxine MORSE, daughter of William MORSE and Ruzilla (---), on 15 Mar 1941 in IA.1 (Maxine MORSE was born about 1922 in IA 3 and died on 23 Mar 1954 in IA 1.)
